Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a multidisciplinary team, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will architect and oversee the technical strategy and growth of the See & Scout platform, focusing on building scalable data and machine learning systems while collaborating across various teams to enhance customer decision-making in agriculture.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering organization across software, data, machine learning, and robotics
- Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the See & Scout platform, ensuring alignment with long-term goals
- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and rapid delivery of capabilities
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, robotics, or related fields
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in a Director or equivalent senior role
- Proven success in building and leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations
- Deep experience with large-scale data platforms and cloud-native distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
