Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the AI/ML Engineering and Science team, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will guide the design and implementation of large-scale ML-based solutions while fostering collaboration across engineering, product, and research teams in a flexible hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Guide the design and implementation of evolving ML-based solutions across multiple teams based on strategic product roadmaps
- Define technical requirements and comprehensive data strategies to support scalable production serving strategies
- Drive data analysis efforts to identify patterns and inform strategic development directions in partnership with product teams
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility and strategic influence in the industry
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
- Proficiency in Python and Java or C++ for developing scalable systems
- Experience in query understanding and query formulation guidance is desirable
