Director of Engineering
Job Summary
To drive operational excellence and business growth, the part-time Director of Engineering will lead strategic business operations and cross-functional execution for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community portfolios in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end business operations, strategic planning, and program execution supporting DoD and IC mission outcomes
- Lead capture management and business development strategies while cultivating relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
- Oversee Facility Clearance sponsorship activities and ensure compliance with industrial security programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering operations and business development within the Defense and Intelligence sectors
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
- Proven track record in workforce planning, vendor management, and compliance with DCSA regulations
- Demonstrated success in driving business development across DoD and IC stakeholders
