Job Summary
Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team, the full-time remote Director of Engineering for the Integrated Sensor team will oversee the development, deployment, and scaling of hardware and software systems, ensuring reliable product delivery and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering organization across hardware, embedded software, and cloud systems
- Define and evolve the technical strategy and architecture for the Integrated Sensor product line, balancing immediate delivery with long-term reliability
- Collaborate with Product and Deployment teams to translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans and ensure effective execution
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with significant leadership in engineering teams and organizations
- 5+ years of people management experience, including managing senior engineers and engineering managers
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across hardware, embedded systems, edge computing, and cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience in building and operating products that integrate hardware and software systems
- Strong technical understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, and operational excellence
