Director of Engineering, AI Platform

Job Summary

Leading the Applied AI & Data Platform organization, the remote full-time Director of Engineering, AI Platform will manage the development of AI systems and data infrastructure, focusing on building a reliable platform for administrative tasks while driving organizational growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AI roadmap, setting direction for AI applications and decision-making processes
• Push AI capabilities deeper into service requests and customer-facing products
• Lead the data platform, ensuring fast, trustworthy data usage and robust tooling

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, ML, or data science, with a background in managing multi-team organizations
• Experience across various disciplines, including engineering, ML, and data science
• Proven track record of deploying ML/AI systems at scale beyond prototypes
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agents, and production reliability requirements
• Expertise in data infrastructure, including pipelines and ML support tools
