Job Summary

Leading the technical strategy for the Data Products pillar, the full-time remote Director of Engineering, Data Products will manage the clinical data ingestion pipeline, oversee data onboarding processes, and drive the adoption of AI-powered development workflows to enhance engineering productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Data Products technical roadmap, focusing on canonical data modeling and ingestion scalability
• Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline while ensuring data hygiene and monitoring standards
• Drive the implementation of AI-assisted development workflows to improve coding, testing, and deployment processes

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with a focus on high-scale data platforms and interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, CCDA)
• Proven track record in managing engineering teams that handle complex clinical data pipelines
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in regulated environments
• Demonstrated experience building engineering systems in healthcare settings with a strong understanding of HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance
• Strong operational focus on enhancing data integrity and navigating the complexities of clinical datasets
