Director of Engineering, Infrastructure

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact team, the remote Director of Engineering, Infrastructure will manage cloud infrastructure, backend services, and operational systems while driving reliability, scalability, and engineering effectiveness across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a small Infrastructure Engineering team, including hiring and performance management
• Own the technical direction for cloud infrastructure, backend services, and operational systems
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders on architecture and technical strategy

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading engineering teams
• Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure, backend systems, and operational tooling
• Experience operating and scaling systems on AWS
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and modern engineering practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
