Director of Engineering Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Engineering & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Platform Operations & Delivery team, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Manage capacity planning for incoming requests and serve as the primary technical point of escalation for external partners
• Oversee the provisioning process for Data Clean Rooms and establish operating procedures for privacy checks and identity resolution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Operations, with 4+ years in a people management role
• Experience managing 24/7 production data environments and incident management processes
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture or Databricks
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing cloud budgets and driving cost-reduction initiatives
