Director of Engineering Operations

Job Summary

Leading the quality assurance and engineering excellence functions, the remote Director of Engineering Operations will manage a high-performing team, establish quality standards, and drive operational effectiveness to ensure reliable software delivery at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow a high-performing engineering team across QA, support, and engineering operations
• Own the product quality assurance strategy, including test automation and quality governance
• Lead technical support and incident management functions to resolve customer-impacting issues effectively

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, quality assurance, DevOps, or related roles
• 5+ years managing engineering teams responsible for QA, support, or engineering operations
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices
• Experience implementing engineering metrics programs to drive organizational improvements
• Proven success leading cross-functional operational initiatives involving engineering and product teams
