Director of Enterprise Architecture

Job Summary

Leading the architectural direction for a high-velocity engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Enterprise Architecture will design and implement technology solutions across Payment and Tax product lines while advancing AI-assisted development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and guide the implementation of technology solutions across multi-team development projects in an agile environment
• Own the enterprise architecture roadmap for Payment and Tax platforms, ensuring systems are AI-consumable by design
• Provide architecture guidance to development teams and coach them on modern AI-assisted development practices

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an enterprise architect, application architect, or engineering product leader
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing multi-team development projects
• Proven track record in agile software development environments
• Experience with financial payment systems and integration with bank systems or tax authorities
• Hands-on experience with AI developer tools and their integration into team workflows
