Director of Enterprise Data Platform

Job Summary

Leading a foundational team within the Enterprise Data Platform organization, the full-time Director of Enterprise Data Platform will design, build, and operate the medallion data lake, ensuring data reliability and overseeing a high-performing data engineering team in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate the medallion data lake, defining standards for data ingestion and governance
• Develop and retain a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of engineering rigor and data quality
• Drive the strategy for integrating new source systems and establish SLAs for data freshness and availability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with 5+ years in leadership positions
• Strong experience with cloud-native platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing multi-layer data lake architectures at enterprise scale
• Experience with modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, observability, and pipeline orchestration
