Director of Enterprise Risk Management

Job Summary

As the first dedicated hire in this remote, full-time salaried position, the Director of Enterprise Risk Management will manage Giga's performance bond strategy, build relationships with sureties and brokers, and creatively structure bonding solutions to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own Giga's performance bond strategy, structuring and negotiating with sureties for live deals
• Build and manage relationships with insurance brokers and surety providers, negotiating terms on a project-by-project basis
• Advise executive leadership on risk exposure and market conditions, while laying groundwork for future team development

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in performance bonds, insurance, or risk management
• Deep knowledge of performance bond underwriting, pricing, and structuring
• Experience managing broker and surety relationships, taking a company's risk profile to market
• Strong understanding of corporate and project-level insurance programs
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Construction Management, or a related field
