Director of Epidemiology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Epidemiology, Medical Evidence Generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal epidemiology expert and resource for the organization
• Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of epidemiologic studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of epidemiology activities with business objectives

Required Qualifications

• A PhD or Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience (PhD) or 12 years (Master's) in Epidemiology and/or Evidence Generation in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated experience leading epidemiologic studies across multiple phases of the product lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of observational study designs and real-world data sources
• Experience in creation and management of a disease state epidemiology database
