Director of Epidemiology
Job Summary
Leading high-impact research for biopharma partners, the full-time Director of Epidemiology will develop and validate novel epidemiological methods, oversee study protocol execution, and serve as a subject matter expert, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative approaches for real-world evidence (RWE), including external control arms and causal inference methodologies
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of retrospective database analyses, ensuring scientific rigor in study protocols
- Advise biopharma clients on innovative study designs and contribute to the scientific community through publications and conference presentations
Required Qualifications
- PhD (preferred) or PharmD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 7+ years in HEOR/RWE, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Deep expertise in oncology is required
- Proven track record of developing advanced methodological approaches in epidemiology
- Advanced skills in R or SAS, with experience in handling complex real-world data
