Job Summary
Leading the operational strategy for a portfolio of strategic events, the full-time Director of Event Operations will establish governance frameworks, optimize processes, and ensure exceptional experiences across customer, partner, employee, and executive events in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the event operations strategy and governance framework across the strategic events portfolio
- Oversee operational planning and execution, ensuring consistency and excellence in all event programs
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and contract negotiations to optimize event operations
Required Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in large-scale event operations or experiential marketing
- Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar budgets and complex event portfolios
- Deep expertise in operational planning, supplier management, and large-scale event execution
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of operational governance and risk management frameworks
