Director of External Communications

Job Summary

Leading labor relations and managed care communications, the full-time salaried Director of External Communications will develop strategic plans and campaigns, serve as a trusted advisor during crises, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic communication plans and campaigns to support business objectives and mitigate organizational risk
• Provide strategic counsel and develop response plans and messaging during issues and crises
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to create aligned communication strategies and ensure consistent messaging across the organization

Required qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership/management, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership/management
• At least 12 years of experience in executive communications
