Job Summary

Leading executive communications strategies, the full-time remote Director of External Communications will develop and execute external messaging, enhance executive visibility, and prepare leaders for high-profile engagements in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement external communications strategies, including speeches and executive messaging
• Ensure consistent and authentic messaging across external platforms while enhancing executive presence
• Prepare executives for interviews and speaking engagements in collaboration with media relations teams

Required qualifications

• High School diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership
• 10-12 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, particularly in executive communications
• Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field required
