Director of Federal Proposals

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle for federal government solicitations, the full-time remote Director of Federal Proposals will establish proposal strategies, manage operations, and ensure compliance with federal regulations to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals that support company growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of proposal development for federal solicitations, including RFPs, RFQs, and IDIQ task orders
• Establish proposal strategies aligned with capture plans and competitive positioning while overseeing proposal managers and writers
• Conduct compliance reviews and lead final executive readiness reviews to ensure proposals meet federal compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of federal proposal experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency in AI tools and demonstrated success leading complex, multi-million-dollar federal proposals
• Deep knowledge of the federal acquisition process, FAR/DFARS, and agency procurement practices
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
