Director of Field Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Field Engineering (Specialist).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales Solutions Architects and first-line managers
• Partner with sales organizations to develop and execute strategic plans for platform adoption and customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, understanding customer-specific landscapes and priorities

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Manager or Director level in a pre-sales or technical solutions architecture role
• Demonstrated success in enterprise software pre-sales leadership, particularly in the Retail or Consumer Products sectors
• Proven ability to drive large transactions and deliver customer value
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience building and leading cross-functional teams in complex, strategic accounts
