Director of Finance

Job Summary

Leading financial strategy and operations, the full-time salaried Director of Finance will develop annual budgets, analyze financial data, and oversee finance and accounting teams while ensuring compliance and managing stakeholder communications in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual operating budget and financial forecasts
• Leads finance and accounting teams, providing clear accountability and performance appraisals
• Communicates financial strategies and insights to key stakeholders, including owners and executive teams

Required qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with no work experience required
• Proven experience in financial analysis and budget management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Experience with compliance and audit processes
• Understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting standards
