Director of Finance

Job Summary

To support a growing marketing agency, the remote Director of Finance will manage financial operations, oversee project management functions, and provide executive leadership, ensuring the company's financial health and operational clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain accurate financial reporting, forecasts, and budget tracking across all departments
• Provide financial and operational oversight of the Project Management team, ensuring alignment with financial targets
• Serve as an active member of the Executive Management Team, driving budget accountability and financial decision-making

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3 years at a Controller, Finance Manager, or Director level
• Background in a services-based business, preferably in agency, consulting, or managed services
• Proven track record in financial reporting and the financial close process
• Strong understanding of service business economics, including utilization and labor margin
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA is a plus
