Director of Finance and Operations

Job Summary

Driving financial operations and business growth, the remote Director of Finance and Operations will manage all accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes while overseeing day-to-day business operations and employee management in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the finance and accounting function, including financial reporting, month-end close, payroll management, budgeting, and process improvement
• Oversee business operations, including contracts administration, employee management, and culture-building activities
• Serve as a representative to the Board of Directors, delivering management insights and strategic plans

Required qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in accounting with expertise in financial statement preparation and GAAP compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in public accounting is highly preferred
• Proven ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reports
• Experience leading or supporting financial audits and meeting tax requirements
