Director of Finance - Clinical Trials

Job Summary

Responsible for the financial operations and oversight of clinical trials, the full-time remote Director of Finance - Clinical Trials will manage fiscal policies, reporting, and internal controls while collaborating with clinical operations and finance teams to ensure effective financial stewardship.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee financial accounting and operations for clinical trials, including invoicing, cash management, and account reconciliations
• Partner with internal teams to develop trial budgets, forecasts, and provide financial oversight of external organizations
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with organizational policies while assisting in budget development and reporting

Required qualifications:

• CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 8+ years of financial accounting experience required
• 3+ years of management experience required
• Experience in clinical research contract administration preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial statement disclosure requirements
