Director of Finance & Strategy

Job Summary

To build a best-in-class Finance & Strategy function, the fully remote Director of Finance & Strategy will partner with the CFO, oversee financial planning and analysis, and drive strategic finance initiatives while leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual planning and rolling forecast, including P&L, headcount, and cash flow modeling
• Lead financial diligence for M&A and market expansion opportunities while developing department-level budgets
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics to create automated workflows that improve data quality and reduce manual effort

Required qualifications

• 6-10 years of progressive finance experience, with a background in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategic finance
• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment for at least 3 years
• Strong financial modeling skills, including three-statement and long-range modeling
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, and LTV
• Proven experience managing an FP&A function and operating as a generalist in a lean environment
