Director of Financial Aid

Job Summary

Managing the financial aid department remotely, the full-time Director of Financial Aid will plan, organize, and supervise the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid funds while ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing student satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all processes for awarding student loans, grants, and scholarships
• Direct financial aid strategies in alignment with enrollment management objectives and regulatory frameworks
• Oversee administrative functions of the Financial Aid department, including staff supervision and professional development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in student personnel or related area
• Minimum of three years of administrative experience in financial aid programs at an educational institution
• Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs
• Experience with need analysis, counseling, and packaging aid
• Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student body
