Director of Financial Clearance

Job Summary

To enhance the financial clearance process, the full-time salaried Director of Financial Clearance will manage operations for a shared services center, establishing protocols, analyzing performance reports, and ensuring compliance across multiple healthcare entities.

Key responsibilities

• Establish programs, protocols, and policies to standardize the financial clearance process across various entities
• Develop and analyze reports to improve revenue cycle performance and operational efficiency
• Implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the financial clearance process through automation and controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• CRCE/CMPA/CHFP certification preferred, with leadership experience in industry organizations strongly encouraged
• 7-10 years of hospital receivables/operations management experience, including 3-5 years in a management role
• Experience in revenue cycle management projects and a significant role in redesign projects within a centralized business office environment
• Knowledge of managed care and regulations impacting patient accounting
