Director of Financial Management Services

Job Summary

Leading the operational infrastructure of financial management services, the full-time remote Director of Financial Management Services will manage payroll, compliance, and participant support within self-directed care programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of FMS functions, including payroll processing and service delivery workflows
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program regulations while managing internal audits and program integrity functions
• Develop cross-functional teams and establish performance metrics to foster a culture of operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• 2-4+ years of leadership experience in Financial Management Services (FMS) or related operations
• Deep knowledge of Medicaid self-direction models and Vendor Fiscal/Employer Agent (VF/EA) structures
• Experience managing multi-state or complex program operations
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
