Director of Financial Reporting

Job Summary

Assuming primary responsibility for all core accounting functions, the full-time remote Director of Financial Reporting will manage enterprise general ledger accounting, oversee financial reporting and management reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide monthly financial reports and analysis of variances from budget to Management and the Board of Directors
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual business plan, budgets, and financial forecasts while managing audits and liaising with external auditors
• Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations for profitability and cost efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred
• 8+ years of experience in a third-party-administrator operation related to health care
• 5+ years of leadership experience in developing high-performing accounting teams
• Demonstrated expertise in GAAP/IFRS compliance and financial reporting standards
