Director of Financial Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function for its Asset Protection Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare internal GAAP financial reports and present results to senior management
• Oversee the preparation of GAAP financial statements for APD legal entities
• Lead and manage APD accounting staff, fostering employee development and engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
• 10-15 years of financial/insurance accounting experience
• 5-10 years of leadership experience managing accounting teams
• FLMI or other industry designation desirable
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles
