Director of Financial Reporting

Job Summary

Leading financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives, the full-time Director of Financial Reporting will oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support audit readiness in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly financial reporting function and collaborate with various departments to enhance reporting quality and efficiency
• Lead the development of public-company-ready financial reporting processes, including technical accounting governance and internal control documentation
• Conduct technical accounting research and prepare analyses for complex U.S. GAAP matters, ensuring compliance and audit readiness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or technical accounting
• CPA certification preferred, with experience in public-company reporting and SEC-style filings
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level materials and manage complex financial statements
