Job Summary
As the Director of Financial Systems, the full-time position will focus on managing the Oracle Fusion Record to Report (R2R) platform, ensuring effective configuration and automation to support financial operations, while working in a hybrid model primarily based on the East Coast.
Key responsibilities
- Own and optimize Oracle Fusion R2R platform configurations, including General Ledger and Close Manager, to enhance financial reporting and automation
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to streamline close cycles and improve task sequencing, visibility, and efficiency in financial processes
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across the R2R lifecycle, reducing manual intervention and enhancing overall system performance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion R2R modules, including hands-on configuration of General Ledger and Close Manager
- Demonstrated ability to translate accounting requirements into effective Oracle configurations as a technology advisor
- Proven track record of implementing automation solutions to eliminate manual processes
- Experience in directing technical teams and validating technical designs related to Oracle configurations
- Strong knowledge of ASC 830 and SOX ITGC requirements relevant to financial systems
