Director of Forecasting and Scheduling

Job Summary

To support a growing national clinician network, the full-time salaried Director of Forecasting and Scheduling will build and optimize capacity planning strategies, lead workforce planning initiatives, and oversee forecasting and scheduling analysts in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own forecasting strategy for clinical capacity by translating demand projections into staffing needs
• Lead workforce planning and staffing models to ensure appropriate clinician capacity for service delivery
• Partner cross-functionally with various teams to align demand forecasts and scheduling priorities with growth targets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in workforce planning, forecasting, scheduling, or operations analytics; 2+ years in leadership preferred
• Strong experience in building forecasting models and staffing plans based on historical trends and projected demand
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI/reporting tools preferred
• Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or service-delivery environments with variable demand strongly preferred
