Job Summary
To support a growing national clinician network, the full-time salaried Director of Forecasting and Scheduling will build and optimize capacity planning strategies, lead workforce planning initiatives, and oversee forecasting and scheduling analysts in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own forecasting strategy for clinical capacity by translating demand projections into staffing needs
- Lead workforce planning and staffing models to ensure appropriate clinician capacity for service delivery
- Partner cross-functionally with various teams to align demand forecasts and scheduling priorities with growth targets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience in workforce planning, forecasting, scheduling, or operations analytics; 2+ years in leadership preferred
- Strong experience in building forecasting models and staffing plans based on historical trends and projected demand
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI/reporting tools preferred
- Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or service-delivery environments with variable demand strongly preferred
