Director of FP&A

Job Summary

Seeking a high-caliber finance leader, the full-time remote Director of FP&A will manage financial strategies at the intersection of Hardware Engineering, Software Product, and Operations, focusing on COGS architecture, R&D capitalization, and logistics economics.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive COGS architecture and track engineering changes for accurate hardware cost performance
• Lead financial analysis for new product launches, synthesizing BOM economics and long-term margin impacts
• Transform budgeting processes into a dynamic 12-month rolling forecast using Adaptive Planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with a financial emphasis
• 7-10 years of progressive FP&A experience in Hardware Engineering or Supply Chain environments
• Deep command of hardware COGS, inventory accounting, and R&D capitalization
• Expert-level Excel proficiency, including complex modeling and data analysis
• Executive presence and communication skills to engage with engineering and operations leadership
