Director of FP&A

Job Summary

Seeking a high-caliber finance leader, the remote Director of FP&A will manage COGS architecture, R&D capitalization strategy, and logistics economics while driving financial accountability and strategic partnership across Hardware Engineering, Software Product, and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a master COGS architecture and oversee cost savings initiatives for hardware cost performance decisions
• Lead Go/No-Go financial analysis for new product launches, synthesizing BOM economics and long-term margin impact
• Transform Product and Operations budgeting into a dynamic 12-month rolling forecast using Adaptive Planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with a financial emphasis
• 7-10 years of progressive FP&A experience in Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environments
• Deep understanding of hardware COGS, inventory accounting, and R&D capitalization
• Expert-level Excel proficiency, including complex modeling and data analysis
• Executive presence and strong communication skills to engage with engineering and operations leadership
