Director of Fraud

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team to perform manual fraud reviews and design scalable workflows for fraud detection
• Define fraud filter logic and collaborate with data teams to monitor filter performance
• Establish risk baselines and tailor fraud defenses to minimize impact on legitimate customers

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in fraud prevention or strategy within fintech or related fields
• Hands-on experience managing fraud cases and developing detection rules
• Strong understanding of various fraud typologies, including account takeover and payment fraud
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team while collaborating across departments
• Familiarity with fraud and risk platforms such as Sift, Alloy, or equivalent tools
