Director of Fraud Prevention

Job Summary

To lead the development of fraud prevention strategies, the full-time salaried Director of Fraud Prevention will design decisioning engines, recommend risk verification standards, and leverage data analytics to enhance fraud assessment processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design fraud prevention decisioning engines for all loan products to estimate fraud and identity risk
• Lead fraud prevention analysts in evaluating risk concerns and enhancing decisioning engines using data
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to review fraud prevention effectiveness with senior leadership

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience in fraud investigation
• 2 years of leadership experience
• Master's degree in business, statistics, STEM, economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python
• Expertise in fraud prevention and identity risk
