Director of Fund Administration

Job Summary

Overseeing fund accounting operations for a portfolio of third-party real estate private credit clients, the full-time remote Director of Fund Administration will manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, client relationship management, and continuous improvement of workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end fund accounting function, including NAV calculations, financial statement preparation, and fee/carry calculations
• Review and sign off on complex waterfall calculations and oversee preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
• Act as a senior point of contact for client CFOs and finance teams, managing escalations and maintaining service expectations

Required qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in fund accounting or finance roles with exposure to real estate private credit or structured credit
• Deep knowledge of credit fund structures and associated accounting treatment
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams in a high-growth environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong technical accounting skills (GAAP) and familiarity with audit and tax processes for investment funds
