Director of Generative Optimization

Job Summary

To build and scale a global product function, the full-time Director of Generative Optimization will define brand visibility across AI platforms, manage strategy and experimentation, and lead a high-performing team to drive growth through AI and organic discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a GEO function and operating model to enhance brand visibility and drive growth
• Develop and execute experimentation programs to improve organic and AI-referred traffic and conversions
• Build and lead a high-performing GEO team, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder trust

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical search or discovery in a high-growth environment
• Strong technical foundation in web architecture, crawling, indexing, and structured data/schema
• Proven success in designing and executing experimentation programs with measurable business impact
• Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams from the ground up
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data measurement and insights generation
