Director of GIS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to lead the enterprise strategy for managing geospatial data across its fiber network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a GIS team responsible for validating and ingesting as-built data for fiber construction
• Establish processes, quality controls, and tooling for large-scale fiber deployment programs
• Oversee data flows between engineering drawings and GIS environments using APIs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical, Geospatial, or related field)
• 5-10 years of experience in GIS, CAD/GIS integration, or geospatial data management
• Expert knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, and related geospatial tools
• Experience with IQ GEO Network Manager or similar telecom mapping tools
• Proven leadership experience managing GIS or technical data teams
