Director of Global IP

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Global Intellectual Property.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global IP team, driving proactive IP management
• Ensure freedom to operate in newly developed solar technologies and manage a robust patent portfolio
• Collaborate with R&D teams to document and protect inventions while supporting licensing and enforcement activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Technology (Advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in industrial IP management, with a focus on patents
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a technical or IP/legal field
• Deep understanding of patent law and IP portfolio management in the EU and US markets
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams across cultures
