Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Global Medical Publications in Rare Disease.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of publication plans for therapeutic area assets, ensuring alignment with medical and communication objectives
• Manage publication vendors and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scientific standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data interpretation and timely publication of clinical results

Required Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) required
• 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, or Publications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading publication planning and execution for global or regional programs
• Proven experience managing vendors and external medical writers, including budget oversight
• Strong understanding of Good Publication Practices (GPP) and ICMJE guidelines
