Director of Governance, Risk & Assurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Governance, Risk & Assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the long-term GRA strategy and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Lead and mentor a high-performing GRA team, promoting a culture of security and compliance
• Serve as the primary GRA contact for executive leadership and oversee internal and external audits

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology
• Deep understanding of SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001
• Experience integrating GRC tooling with security systems to automate controls
• Collaborative approach to governance and risk management
• Strong passion for learning about products and markets through training
