Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Government Affairs, the full-time hybrid role will focus on advancing policy priorities by building relationships with federal officials, monitoring legislative developments, and positioning the organization as a trusted resource among policymakers and industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with Members of Congress, congressional staff, and federal agency officials to support business and policy interests
  • Proactively monitor federal legislative and regulatory activities, providing actionable intelligence to senior leadership
  • Assist in developing and executing government affairs strategies, including drafting policy communications and coordinating with external consultants
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or JD strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, federal affairs, or legislative affairs
  • Prior experience working with Congress or federal regulatory agencies, particularly in the financial services sector
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and federal legislative processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with senior government officials and stakeholders
