Director of Government Affairs

Job Summary

Leading the US industry and regulatory affairs strategy, the full-time Associate Director of Industry Affairs will engage with institutional stakeholders, drive internal alignment on advocacy messages, and convert regulatory intelligence into business opportunities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the US industry and regulatory affairs strategy, including stakeholder mapping and engagement plans
• Anticipate and escalate regulatory, political, and geopolitical developments affecting Amadeus' US business
• Drive executive alignment on advocacy messages and lead cross-functional initiatives covering US regulatory priorities

Required qualifications

• A university degree in Economics, Business, Law, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent senior professional experience
• A minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or strategic stakeholder management
• A proven track record leading complex advocacy strategies in highly regulated environments
• Sound knowledge of the US political, regulatory, and institutional landscape affecting technology and travel
• Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other relevant languages is a plus
