Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Government Relations in Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships and engage in advocacy outreach with Congress members and federal agency officials
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Political Action Committee, including budget and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of proposed legislation and develop necessary communications
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of federal advocacy experience, preferably in a corporate or trade association setting
  • Experience with political action committee work at the corporate or trade association level is preferred
  • Knowledge of policy issues impacting the financial services industry
  • Must meet requirements to register as a lobbyist at the federal level
  • Based in the Washington, D.C. area and comfortable working remotely
