Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Government Relations & State Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage federal, state, and local government officials to secure agreements for Common App products and services
• Act as the primary liaison with government entities and lead strategic business development for state initiatives
• Monitor legislative developments and provide strategic recommendations to leadership on policy impacts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, government, education, or a relevant field
• 8-10 years of functional experience, with 6-8 years in a management role
• Proven ability to engage higher education executives and build strategic partnerships
• Demonstrated proficiency in multi-state government relations and policy influence
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
