Director of Grant Management

Job Summary

Leading the grant management function in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried Director of Grant Management will oversee the full lifecycle of donor awards and sub-grants, ensuring compliance, financial management, and effective partnership with implementing teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the organization-wide approach to grant management, establishing standards and processes from pre-award to closeout
• Oversee sub-granting to partners, ensuring effective management and compliance throughout the lifecycle
• Monitor grant performance and risks, providing senior leadership with visibility into key commitments and issues

Required qualifications:

• At least 12 years of experience in grants, award, or portfolio management in global health or international development
• Significant experience managing large donor awards and subgrants, including compliance and risk management
• Strong understanding of donor compliance and financial monitoring practices
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and advise senior leadership on complex grant issues
• Bachelor's degree in international development, public health, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
