Job Summary
Leading the negotiation and execution of grant and contract functions, the full-time Director of Grants and Contracts will manage staff, advise faculty and researchers, and ensure compliance with research administration policies in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the negotiation and administration of contracts and grants with external agencies
- Provide guidance to faculty and staff on grant and contract policies and procedures
- Engage with national organizations to promote leadership in research administration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of experience in sponsored programs administration within an academic or research environment
- Extensive knowledge of pre- and post-award sponsored programs administration and relevant federal regulations
- Proficiency in using sponsor-specific online systems such as Fastlane and Grants.gov
- Experience in negotiating and administering various types of contracts and agreements
