Job Summary
Leading the Groups Contracts and Groups Bookings teams, the full-time remote Director of Groups & Events will manage performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in group travel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Groups Contracts and Groups Bookings teams, focusing on performance and culture
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational issues and implementing effective solutions
- Manage BPO vendor performance to uphold quality standards and ensure accountability
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in travel operations or group travel support, with at least 5 years in a director-level role
- Hands-on expertise in group travel bookings and contract management
- Proven experience in BPO management and performance oversight
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong cross-functional communication abilities
