Director of Hardware Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Hardware Product Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for successful hardware launches, focusing on cost, resilience, and supply chain enablement
• Collaborate with Hardware & Operations team members to maintain schedules and ensure successful ramp to mass production
• Manage relationships with external joint development manufacturers (JDMs) and oversee business management systems

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field
• Proven experience managing new product launches within an operations organization
• Established people/team management skills with emerging organizational leadership skills
• Experience building long-term relationships with key customers and guiding solution delivery
• Ability to plan strategy and roadmap for the next 1-2 years beyond one's own team
